A Moment with Hilton CEO, Christopher Nassetta

“So, I'm an optimist by nature, but I think we all have a lot to be optimistic about in the years to come.”
Christopher Nassetta, President & CEO Hilton joined us after his session on stage at IHIF in Berlin.
When asked about business travel, Nassetta said that Hilton have seen that segment pick up a lot especially in the U.S. this summer, before the Delta variant, they were already back to 80 percent of their 2019 levels on business transient.
He added that it will probably take two or three years for it to get back to the levels that they saw in 2018 and 2019, but I think it will come back.
“We think we are going to be back in a new golden age of travel after the pandemic” and that there are tremendous opportunities all over the world from a hotel development perspective.
Nassetta said their objective at Hilton is to win everywhere and they believe they have everything they need to be successful.
