Accor exits CAC 40

Accor will be replaced by the Alstom group in the CAC-40 index in Paris.

The changes were part of the annual review of the companies forming the CAC and will take effect on 21 September.

Alstom’s shares gained 7.84% since the start of the year, while Accor’s have fallen by 37.72%. The company’s shares closed last week at €24.89, off a year high of €42.58.
