BrewDog eyes Edinburgh for next hotel

BrewDog, the Scottish brewer and pub operator, has earmarked Edinburgh as the potential location for its next hotel venture.

The company already has properties in Aberdeen, Manchester and Columbus, Ohio, under its DogHouse and Kennels brand names and now wants to add the Scottish capital to that list.

“Working on a potential @BrewDog beer hotel location in Edinburgh today. It would be great to open a beer hotel in the capital of our home country. Watch this space,” James Watt, BrewDog CEO & Co-Founder, said on Twitter.

Watt’s tweet was accompanied by an image of a DogHouse branded property, Brewdog’s larger style hotel, it also offers smaller sites under its Kennels name.

BrewDog said in 2019 that it planned to open hotels in cities such as Paris, London and Berlin.
