International hotel property adviser Christie & Co has appointed Edgar Ollé as managing director of Spain and Portugal.
Ollé will be tasked with continuing to grow the transactional and consultancy activities across the region.
In his previous role, Ollé was an executive director at Marriott International.
Darren Bond, global managing director of Christie & Co, said: “We are delighted to welcome Edgar to the business. He brings significant experience to our team, and we look forward to further growing our activity in Spain and Portugal. Edgar replaces Inmaculada Ranera, who recently left Christie & Co after 21 years as managing director. Inmaculada helped to establish our business in the Spain and Portugal region and I would like to thank her for all of her contribution over this period.”
Ollé added: “I have been working with Christie & Co for the last 10 years in several different roles, and when the opportunity to lead the Spanish and Portuguese company was given to me, I couldn’t refuse, as I know most of the team and how committed they are to the company. The market is in a very interesting cycle and recovery is around the corner.”
