Europe occupancy lowest since June

Occupancy in Europe was at its lowest level since June in September, according to STR.

The group reported that occupancy was at 32.3%, down 57.8% on the year, with ADR falling by 26.4% to €84.91 and revpar down 69% to €27.39.

In the UK each of the metrics were at their lowest point since July, with occupancy falling by 50.4% to 40.2%, ADR down 31.3% to £65.86 and revpar down 65.9% to £26.51.

In the Netherlands occupancy fell to its lowest level since May, while ADR came in lower than any month since April. Occupancy dropped 77.7% to 18%, with ADR at €79.73, a 36.9% fall and revpar down 85.9% to €14.36.
