The resort and residential asset class has previously been seen as an adjacent space within the hotel investment arena, but we are certainly seeing a change in this respect as global brands and investors are actively seeking opportunities in Asia, Europe, Australia and even the UK.
While there are still challenges ahead as operators and developers face rising costs, the opportunities seem to outweigh the risk.
