In Focus: Shaping the new lifestyle, the need to invest beyond the hotel room

In this episode we are looking back at some of the sessions from our events that considered the need to invest beyond the hotel room and how hospitality is shaping a new lifestyle.

Christian Walters asks, "what is the definition of a lifestyle hotel, is it just an overused term in the industry?" Can hotels compete with serviced living to create a sense of community?

Lennert De Jong discusses how to balance the needs of the customer and the investor, looking at customer-centric, non revenue generating spaces such as living rooms versus maximising the revenue within the building and increasing the number of room keys.

If you would like to continue the conversation with innovators in this space, registration is now open and the programme can be seen here

Last year’s IHIF Adjacent Spaces programme featured speakers from over 10 countries from established leaders to new brands including Ennismore, citizenM, Zoku, Selina, Urban Campus, MILESTONE Living, THE EMBASSIES, Cheval Collection, Le Bijou, Yotel, Outsite, POHA House, Slow and many more.
