Chinese hotel group Huazhu has appointed Jihong He as CEO for international business.
In this newly created role, He will oversee the group's international businesses, which include Deutsche Hospitality.
He joins Huazhu from CapitaLand, where she was chief strategy officer and CEO of data center business.
Huazhu wants He to help develop its overseas portfolio and increase its standing in the global hospitality sector.
Huazhu completed the deal to buy Deutsche Hospitality for about €700 million at the start of 2020.
