IHG has signed a management agreement with K.W. Group to bring both the Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express brands to Phuket's Kata Beach.
Scheduled to open in 2022, the hotels will be additions to The Beach Plaza Phuket, the largest mixed-use development in Kata Beach, located five minutes from the sea.
Serena Lim, VP, development for IHG, South East Asia & Korea, said: "It's fantastic to continue the expansion of our Holiday Inn brand family in Thailand with the addition of these two new properties, and especially to partner with K.W. Group who have decades of hospitality experience in Phuket.
"We remain on track to double the size of our mainstream estate across the Kingdom in the next three to five years and the combined strength of this partnership will ensure we deliver on our brands' promise and delight guests when the two hotels open in 2022.”
