JLL boosts EMEA hospitality team

JLL has made two appointments to its hospitality team in the EMEA region.

Rekha Toora joins as senior vice president and Marc Nelson as executive vice president.

The real estate services company is looking to enhance its deal-making capabilities in the European market.

Toora joins from Qbic Hotels where she was CIO, while Nelson has moved across from CBRE where he was director, Investment Properties.

“There has been a huge influx of capital seeking to enter into the long income market.  The market has become much more flexible in how product can be structured and we look forward to working alongside Marc and the hotels team advising across all areas of structures across commercial ground rents, sale and leasebacks, development fundings and income strips,” Martin Le Grice, lead director of long income and funding solutions, JLL said.

Over the last five years JLL’s hotels and hospitality division has completed transactions totalling $83 billion worldwide, and across EMEA, it advised on €13.4 billion of hotel sales in the same period.
