Louvre Hotels expands into extended stay market

Louvre Hotels Group is moving into the fast-growing extended stay market with a new brand, Tulip Residences.

The company’s first two residential hotels will open their doors this summer at Joinville-le-Pont in France and Warsaw in Poland. It intends to open 30 more over the next five years.

Each property will include: studios or two-room apartments; co-working areas; café and wellbeing area.

In collaboration with its owner Jin Jiang, Louvre will modify the concept for the Chinese market with the pilot hotel scheduled for the end of 2021 and the signing of 25 new establishments by 2022.

“Tulip Residences meets the needs of travellers who book extended hotel stays and want the comfort of a hotel as well as stimulating, functional common areas, for both business and personal use,” Cyril Vaussard, General Manager Tulip Residences, said.
