Next Point expands its portfolio with a four-star hotel in Catalonia

Spanish Socimi (REIT) Next Point has announced it is growing its hotel portfolio with the acquisition of a four-star hotel in the Catalonian province of Gerona.

The 114-room property was acquired for six million euros via its subsidiary Viv Buildings 3.  It is the latest addition in the group’s portfolio, which consists of senior living, tourism properties and short-term stay apartments in Catalonia’s main cities.

Its previous acquisition in the leisure hospitality segment was in Empuriabrava in Gerona, bought in July 2020 for 1.97 million euros. The property was comprised of fifteen holiday homes managed under lease by French group Pierre & Vacances.
