Portugal's Insula Capital targets hospitality with new €100m fund

Lisbon-based real estate investment company Insula Capital is launching a new €100 million property fund targeting the hospitality industry and other sectors.

RE Capital Property Fund I will look to acquire assets in Portugal as well as capital cities across Europe, including the United Kingdom and Switzerland.

“We are excited to be launching this fund to provide investors with an opportunity to access a diversified portfolio of income-generating assets and realise potential capital gains across development projects in the real estate sector,” Florence Ricou, founder and CEO of Insula Capital said.

“We have already identified a pipeline of attractive unique investment opportunities and we look forward to deploying capital into these opportunities on behalf of our investors.”

As well has hospitality, Insula will be targeting opportunities across the residential, office, retail sectors.
