Stoneweg has consolidated its specialist management and advisory capabilities in the hotels sector into a dedicated platform.
Stoneweg Hospitality will be led by Miguel Casas, who joins from CBRE as managing director.
Under Casas's leadership, Stoneweg Hospitality will look to build a hotel-focused platform comprising investments in key European markets.
"We retain a high conviction in hotels which we believe will see a strong recovery as economies across the globe emerge from the pandemic,” Joaquín Castellví, co-founder and head of acquisitions, Europe at Stoneweg, said.
“Over the years we have an established a strong track record in the sector and our deep-seated network enables us to source attractive opportunities, which we are already seeing as a result of the dislocation caused by Covid-19.
“We have therefore taken the decision to consolidate and build on our expertise by establishing Stoneweg Hospitality as a dedicated platform.”
