Virgin Hotels is adding a second planned property in Scotland with a new hotel planned for Glasgow.
The company announced its expansion into Edinburgh earlier this year. Both hotels are set to open in 2022.
Virgin Hotels is partnering with owner and developer Silk Property Group alongside Siggis Capital as the asset manager, architects 21st Architecture and RM Funds as a financial partner.
Virgin Hotels’ current portfolio is located in the United States with properties in Chicago, Dallas, Nashville and Las Vegas but the signing of the two Scottish properties show its international ambitions. Virgin Hotels expects to announce numerous hotel management signings before year-end.
