Young’s sees staycations boost

Young & Co’s Brewery said that its hotels had seen a boost from the domestic staycation trend over the summer.

Accommodation was described as an “important third income stream” for pubs, which have moved more deeply into overnight stays in recent years.

Young’s said that geography had “played its part in the demand for hotel rooms and has varied greatly across the estate”.
