Daniel von Barloewen is the Regional Senior Director of Mixed-Use Development for Marriott International.  He is responsible for the development of branded residences across all of Marriott’s brands throughout Europe, Russia and the CIS. With 12 out of its 30 brands available for branded residences, Marriott International has a global market share in excess of 50% of all hotel branded residences by unit number, and 31% by number of projects.
Before joining Marriott in January 2018, Daniel spent 11 years at Savills, where he set up and ran the International Development Consultancy Department. A development surveyor by background, Daniel has particular expertise in market research, feasibility studies, financial appraisals, valuation, development consultancy, design consultancy, and marketing & sales consultancy.
Daniel is also a Major in the British Army Reserve, and has served in Afghanistan. He speaks 4 languages. He holds a Bachelors Degree from the University of Durham and a Masters Degree from CASS Business School.
