PPHE Hotel Group has appointed Greg Hegarty as co-CEO with immediate effect.
Hegarty has been with the group for 18 years in various leadership positions and was appointed as chief operating officer in 2019 and has his role expanded to include deputy CEO in 2020. During this time, he has held overall responsibility for creating and implementing operational strategies while driving PPHE’s corporate vision and growth. He was appointed an executive director of and joined the board in May 2023.
Prior to joining the PPHE, Hegarty held senior management roles at Clermont Hotel Group (formerly GLH / Thistle Hotels) and RBH (formerly Redefine BDL Hotels).
Hegarty will assume his co-CEO role alongside Boris Ivesha, the company’s long-serving president and CEO. He will manage the day-to-day running of the business as well as have a key role in defining and implementing the long-term strategy.
