Egencia president quits

Ariane Gorin, president of Expedia Business Services, will lead Egencia after the group’s president Rob Greyber stepped down.

No reason was given for the departure.

In a tweet to Dara Khosrowshahi, Uber CEO and former CEO of Expedia Group, Greyber said: “It all started when you asked me, “What do you want to do next?”  I said, “What do you need to talk about more with shareholders, partners, the industry?”  That led me to business travel and Egencia. Thanks for the nudge - and the chance.”

Greyber took on the role of Egencia president in May 2009, after serving for two years as the company's SVP for North America. He joined Expedia in May 2004 as vice president of its partner services group, responsible for airline relationships in North America.

Gorin has led EBS since the launch of the umbrella group - which includes Egencia and Expedia Partner Solutions - in late 2019. With Greyber's departure, she now will directly oversee Egencia. Gorin joined Expedia in 2013 as vice president of market management for EMEA.
