Landmark Irish resort Slieve Russell on sale for €35m

The Slieve Russell Hotel has been put up for sale and is expected to achieve a price in the region of €35 million.

Located In Ballyconnell, County Cavan in Ireland, the 224-room hotel sits within a 300-acre country estate with 50 acres of lakes and features an 18-hole golf course, a nine-hole academy course, a three-bay floodlit driving range, a putting green, a practice area, a spa as well as conference & banqueting facilities.

The four-star golf resort and country club in Ballyconnell was previously part of former billionaire Seán Quinn’s portfolio and has been under control of the Irish Bank Resolution Corporation since 2011. Around €7.5 million has been invested in upgrading the resort since 2019.

The sale is being conducted by CBRE.
