Aurelius buys Lindemann Hotels

Aurelius Growth Capital has acquired the Lindemann Hotels group for an undisclosed amount. The hotel group includes four boutique hotels in Berlin.

Aurelius intends to use the acquisition and as a starting point for growth and scaling as part of the buy and build approach.

The Lindemann Hotels group, based in Berlin, was founded in 1993. The corporate group consists of the four boutique hotels Calma Berlin Mitte (Mitte district), fjord hotel berlin (Tiergarten district), Lindemann’s (Schöneberg district), Anna 1908 (Steglitz district) and the central service company Lindemann Hotels Management GmbH. The hotel group employs 52 people.

The transaction was initiated by Engel & Völkers Hotel Consulting GmbH. Aurelius was supported in the project implementation by Hotour Hotel Consulting, Ebner Stolz and Kuzaj Wittmann.

We are seeing more and more investors looking to buy platforms rather than single assets. Buying a branded portfolio gives more opportunity for scaling and expansion.
