Leonardo Hotel Glasgow rebrands following £6.8m refurbishment

Leonardo Hotel Glasgow rebranded to Leonardo Royal Hotel Glasgow following the completion of a £6.8m refurbishment programme.

The renovation includes the refurbishment of all 321 guestrooms, the expansion of the lobby area, the addition of a gym and a new Leo’s Bar and Restaurant.

The rebranded hotel will sit under Leonardo Royal Hotels, the premium brand of Leonardo Hotels.

Fattal Group, the Israeli owner of Leonardo Hotels UK and Ireland has been on a spending spree in the past two years. In 2022, Fattal bought the Dilly Hotel in London from Archer Hotel Capital, with subsidiary Leonardo Hotels UK & Ireland pledging to invest £90 million for an extensive refurbishment programme. Last year, Leumi loaned Fattal £43.7 million to help fund the £60 million acquisition and the refurbishment of the Grand Brighton Hotel.
