Dillip Rajakarier has been a key player in the global expansion of Minor Hotels, growing the company through the acquisition of NH Hotels, the addition of Tivoli Hotels & Resorts, as well Elewana, Africa, increasing the portfolio to more than 500 hotels worldwide.
In this interview with Christie & Co's Edgar Ollé at The Resort & Residential Hospitality Forum earlier this year, Rajakarier discusses their development plans and their strategy for 2022.
“The crisis brings opportunity depending on your mindset: if you're in a crisis mode you can destroy your company; but if you're in an opportunistic mode, you can grow the company.” He continued to speak about how the brand has become a global player who can offer resort and urban experience as well as management, but with an owner’s mindset.
